Sketch up

I don't know, today I must have been in a good mood to do so many sketches all at once. I'm not really sure how long it took me to complete 32 sketches! However, I am sure it's around the 2 and half hour mark, I think. This was actually a lot of fun, just playing around and I feel that I've improved a bit over the process of all of these sketches, well see!

Distant Promise

Here's a speed painting I finished somewhere between 1:30 and 2:00 am. After spending the whole day soaking in inspiring things at DeviantArt and playing around in photoshop.

Drawing Day: Aftermath!

While, I definitely enjoyed drawing day which just passed. I feel that I could provided a lot more drawings if I weren't so busy. So what I did are a few sketches, I was barely willing to even put them up here cause they look 100% more messy than they did, when I drew them. And I have a few others, that really need work..;p So expect to see an 100% cleaned up version of those sketches. Enjoy your day!

Soul City

A dark city which looms over the landscape. It gather power for it's wealthy citizens from the souls of men who live down below. However, there's a glimmer of hope for those who live each day fearing this city. Soon this will change..

Drawing Day is near!

Whooo hoo! Drawing day is about 3 days away, and I still don't really know what I'm going to draw. But I feel pretty confident that whatever flow from my fingertips will be something I'll be happy with. I've had a lot of time to draw things as of late, without a job and I'm just dealing with school. So I'm just really looking forward to some good draw time on June 6th! I'll definitely be posting something interesting on Saturday.

New Odd World

A strange world were it vegetation is unlike anything on this world. A world were the grass grows differently. Is this a place you'd like to live? I know I wouldn't. :p

A sketch which I had to complete for one of my assignments. I think it turned out alright, I'm getting more used to using photoshop as a painting tool. I know there's a lot to learn about using brushes, but I feel that I atlease achieved a bit of something.

Over at www.greyscalegorilla.com, I decided to take upon the challenge of making a five second project. This was an interesting challenge and I definitely wanted the practice.

mA-13 in Color

Yesterday, I decided to take the challenge of coloring the mA-13. Took me almost all evening to get it done and was a learning experience for me, since I'm not really that strong on painting, especially in Photoshop. But I was happy with result, and now it's up here.

Reester Island

On this odd day on Reester Island, There was a story about how these huge creatures would come to the shore by this island to die. Since decades they would come to shore and die next each other.

On a side note, today is Earth Day. I've been so wrapped up in my mind that I didn't even remember about it. I'm not really sure whats so special about Earth day anyways. I'm sure that all the small 'green' things that people are trying to do to feel less guilty, is nothing compared to the damage put upon this planet for centuries. So, now we know our atmosphere is thinning out due to greenhouse gases, and buying all natural dish washing liquid, or other all natural "green" is going to amend things? Another among millions of other ways to get people all fired up for something and buy stuff. ;p

mA-13 Walks the Earth...

The mA-13 walks the Earth in abundance, since the now ancient civilization that built them met a quick and timely end by their own creation. Now it roams free among the wild lands. The Triloks found it necessary and willed the complete protection from harm in any way. Ironically that which is no longer of existence, no longer needs protecting.

Good Morning!

I woke up this morning, after about 4 hours of sleep feeling a lot better than I did for the last week. I had to fight off a pretty evil cold, that would make me sound like Darth Sidious whenever I spoke. It was an interesting change, aside from the torturing headaches and stuff. But I digress, this morning I awoke with a new energy and a bit refreshed, and the first thing I do is visit Youtube?! Anyways, since I used to be in a school band long ago, this sorta brought back those good memories.

Kotoc is Awesome!

So it's a normal day as usual, surfing the web scratching my head wondering what's next. I came across this video on Kotoc's site, their demo reel for 2008. I saw and I was immediately floored with the awesomeness all contained within this one minute and forty five second video. When I see studios like these, it really makes me think, what got them started and things as one day I'd hope to have an awesome studio with amazing artist making...Well, whatever! Anything under the sun! There's no limits. Anyways, enjoy this awesome video.

DSi Is Pure Sweetness!

I got up this morning, made some intensely mundane and boring breakfast. Had some coffee too, I've been getting into that lately. I jumped on the comp and fired up my browser. Then I came across something. This video of that new Nintendo DSi coming out soon and one of it's many apparent features. I must admit I was never really truly interested in another DS with a few new features here and there. However, this feature, made my eyes swell up with tears, to be able to do something like this on the DSi makes this a must get for me! Watch the video, need I say more? ^_-

Class Journey

These drawings were completed with my trusty mechanical pencil. Most of which were completed for my drawing class at AI. See?! I've been busy, I know there's not excuse for the lack up updates going on around here. Things will improve. ;P

I draw wierd things sometimes...Like in this case, I decided to bring forth a new chapter from the great StarFox. What was I thinking? I dunno, make a movie out of it...That's the way I live! Especially being as unemployed as I currently am, I can now find the time to get something done! Right? Or is that the way of thinking? Shouldn't I be more worried about what's to come next? If I told you how I get through each day, you'd probably laugh.

Well things can't be THAT bad, atlease you're enrolled in school, and you'd soon reach that destined level of educated hieghts to be able to land that extremely high paying job career. Well anyways to wrap up this short text fest, today I start my Drawing and Color Thoery for Print classes! And I am pretty excited, school is the one thing that keeping me from going nuts in this situation. But I've got to work hard! Wish me luck...Ç_Ç

Blue Moon Post!

Well, firstly, I'd like to say, Marry Christmas, Happy New Year! My Goodn3ss! It's been like, what? Forever!! Since my last post? Okay, Let's face it folks I'm a terrible procrastinator. However, for now I can safely say that I'm back and hopefully get on track to putting some interesting stuff up on this supposed "ART" blog of mine.

2009, for me will have to be the year for improvement. I've got to get things in my life in order and finally get some kind of establishment so I'll my life is worth something under the sun. I am now currently back in school at the Art Institute, and if that isn't a good start, then I don't know what is!

There will be a lot of interesting things to coming up for this year! Good things....good things.. :p

Sketchy Blogging

I don't know where this came from, in the deep archives hidden deep within the increasing number of folders in my computer. I managed to dig out a sketch I did sometime in the past.

It took all of my gathered willpower to put it on the blog, and here it is now, for all eyes to see and enjoy in any way they may please to do so. =]

Anyways, I've probably got something interesting coming soon to a monitor near you!

Dark Guardian

Alrighty,look familiar? That's the Dark Guardian finally completed! I know, I was planning on releasing the last (watch as I draw) for this piece, but I got a little to crazy and made the video over 700MB! So I've got to work on getting it edited and, it's most likely going to be timelapsed, unless you want to watch an hour of this stuff... Anyways I didn't even manage to record me finishing up this piece! AHH I'm so unorganized! Hopefully the next time I do something like this I will think ahead...So enjoy! ^_^
